Read your aid letter, together.

An aid offer can say $68,000 and still not be the price. Bring your offers (or just your questions) to a free, live online night. We'll walk through how to find the real price, what's borrowed, and how to compare offers side by side.

What we'll cover

  1. Find the sticker price. The cost of attendance, and why it's the starting line, not the price.
  2. Subtract the grants first. Scholarships and grants are free money. What's left is the net price.
  3. Loans are not a discount. Federal loans, parent loans and work-study, and how much of the price each one is.
  4. Compare offers side by side. Net price, borrowing and the four-year total, for up to four colleges.
  5. What to ask a college. The questions that sometimes change an offer, and when to ask them.

Good to know

It's free and live, with time for questions. Nobody is asked to share their numbers. We'll use example offers, and you can work on your own privately with the free comparison tool.

The video link comes by email the day before. Families in any state are welcome.

Before the night
