Spring 2027 · Nominations close December 4
Three Arizona high school students will take their first real college course this spring, fully supported, at no cost for the support. They are nominated by the adults who know them best: a counselor, a teacher, a coach, a co-op leader or a program director.
ASU's own fees are paid to ASU, not to Caveat: $25 to start the course, and $400 only if the family later chooses to add the grade to an official ASU transcript. Arizona students who took the ACT may pay $350 instead. Caveat helps every awarded family with the timing and the paperwork.
Any Arizona student in grades 9 through 12, in a public, charter, private or homeschool program, who is curious and would benefit from a first college course with support. A high GPA is not the point. We are looking for students who would make good use of a weekly advisor: the quietly capable, the bored, the one who would never sign up alone.
Students cannot nominate themselves, and parents cannot nominate their own children. The nominator should have told the family and have the parent's permission for Caveat to contact them.
This form opens an email to Caveat with your nomination filled in. Nothing is stored on this page.

Open in my emailCan I nominate more than one student? Yes, up to three. Send one form per student.
Will winners be announced publicly? Only the number of awards. Students are never named publicly without the family's written permission.
What if the student is not ready this spring? The planning call will say so honestly, with what to practice first. The award can begin in the March 16 session.
Is this connected to ASU? No. Caveat Academic Services offers independent college preparation services and is not affiliated with Arizona State University. Each college decides which credits it accepts.
