How paying, scheduling and your information work with Caveat.

Monthly plans

Check-in and College Prep are month to month. Families on either plan get every self-paced course and printable kit at no extra cost; ask your advisor for the links. There is no contract, and you can cancel any time before the next billing date. You can update the card, see every receipt, pause for a month or cancel from Manage billing in Spotter.

Fees

Every service has one full price. There are no consultation, cancellation or late fees. Siblings save 10%.

Reduced-price places

We hold a small number of reduced-price places on Check-in and College Prep for families with financial need. Ask on your free 20-minute call or write to team@caveatacademic.com. We may ask a simple question about need, such as free or reduced-price school meals; we never ask for tax returns, and the answer stays private.

Scheduling

After you buy a service with sessions, we email within one business day to set the schedule. Families get a calendar invite with the meeting link and can move or cancel a session on their own.

Refunds

Refunds follow the client services agreement. Ask us for a copy at any time: team@caveatacademic.com or 602.677.6883.

Payment

Payments are processed by Stripe; Caveat never sees card numbers. A receipt and an invoice arrive by email. Education savings account (ESA) funds are accepted where eligible. University course fees, when a student takes a university course, are paid directly to the university.

Free tools

Answers you type into our free tools stay in your browser on your device. You do not need an account, and nothing is sent to us unless you choose to send it.

Language

• Sessions are in English. Families are always welcome to bring an interpreter or a bilingual family member to any call.
• Written plans use short, plain sentences that translate well.

Self-paced courses

• After checkout you go straight to the course. The course link is also on the receipt Stripe emails you.
• Work is saved in the browser on the device your student uses, and is never sent to us. Use the same device, and keep the finished plan by printing it or copying it from the last page.
• Lost the link? Email team@caveatacademic.com from the address you paid with and we will send it again.

What we do and do not promise

• Each college decides admission, aid and how credit counts. We work from published information and never promise an outcome.
• Students do all of their own work.
• Money Ready is financial education, not financial advice.
• Organized and Speak Up are skills-based services. They do not diagnose, treat or replace counseling or therapy.
