The credit passport

One record of every college credit your student earns in high school, and how each college on the list counts it. Add credits and colleges, then fill in each college's policy as you check it.

1. Credits earned or planned

AP and IB exams, dual enrollment and online college courses, CLEP exams. Add each one.

2. Colleges on the list

How to fill in each cell

  1. Search the college's site for its AP credit policy, IB credit policy, CLEP policy or transfer credit or transfer equivalency tool.
  2. Find the course or exam. Note what it counts as (a specific course, an elective, or nothing) and the minimum score or grade.
  3. If you cannot find it, ask the admissions or registrar's office in writing and keep the answer.
Each college decides how credit counts, and policies change every year. Record the date you checked. Your passport is saved in this browser on this device; use Print to keep a copy.
