Each subject has 36 weeks of work. High school subjects run about 120 to 150 hours a year and middle school about 100 to 115. You decide on grades and credit as the parent.
Homeschool rules differ by place. The records kit covers what is commonly asked for (attendance, hours, subjects, grades and samples of work), but check the rules where you live.
Students in grades 6 to 12 can do most of it on their own. Plan on a short weekly review together: look at the checked-off weeks, the quiz scores and the work saved for the portfolio.
Yes. Start at any week, and with the All-in-One each student can use a different grade in each subject.
The records kit builds the transcript and course descriptions. For a full review, see our homeschool transcript and counselor packet.

The Caveat Family Guide to College is general information, not legal, tax or financial advice. Each college decides admission, aid and how credit counts, and requirements change; check each college's own pages. Examples are examples, not promises. Caveat Academic Services is an independent college preparation company. Students do all of their own work.
