Caveat Academic Services

Study skills and transitions

The habits that carry a student into college.

Grades follow habits: planning the week, starting early, asking for help. Caveat builds those habits around the student's real classes, and helps with the big handoffs: into high school, out of it, and through the first semester of college. Not subject tutoring.

Questions families ask

Is this tutoring?

No. Caveat doesn't teach subjects. It covers planning, time and follow-through, and points students to their teachers and school help for content.

What do parents see?

A short note after sessions or each month, with what the student agreed to work on. Private things a student says stay private.

Can my college student still get help?

Yes. First-semester check-ins run four monthly calls from August to December, led by the student.
