Caveat Academic Services

Outcomes

How it's going, counted honestly.

Every course a Caveat student starts in Spotter, the Caveat family app, is counted here: finished, withdrawn, or still in progress. The numbers update on their own. Results from our 2025-26 pilot are listed separately below.

The 2025-26 pilot

Caveat's first year ran as a pilot, before Spotter, the family app, existed, so these numbers come from pilot records rather than the live counts above.

18students enrolled
44college courses completed
132college credits earned

Pilot families received support at no additional cost. Live counts above start with the 2026-27 school year.

What is counted

Started: every online ASU course a Caveat student has begun, from the course's start date. A course is never removed from the count because it went badly.

Finish rate: courses finished, out of courses that have ended (finished plus withdrawn). Courses still running are left out until they end either way.

Credit added: finished courses the family chose to add to an official ASU transcript. Adding credit is the family's decision; some students take a course to try college work and choose not to add it.

Rates appear only once at least five courses have ended, so no single student's result can be read from them. Sample families used for demonstrations are excluded. No names, grades or schools are used.

Past results do not predict any one student's result. Caveat Academic Services is independent support, not affiliated with Arizona State University. Students do all of their own coursework. Each college decides which credits it accepts; Caveat does not promise that credit will transfer.
